Axé Capoeira Toronto is dedicated to promoting the art of Capoeira and other cultural Brazilian expressions through classes, shows, festivals and workshops. We hold daily classes at our Toronto school as well as in Mississauga and Scarborough. Our group of students range from kids 3yrs old up to Adults 45+. Classes are divided about 50/50 between men and women of all cultural backgrounds and from all parts of the GTA.

Our group can also be seen in many electrifying performances at street festivals, fundraisers, weddings, nightclubs, restaurants, and major corporate events. For more information, have a look at our training schedule for capoeira classes or our capoeira shows page.

Axé Capoeira Academy has been running in Toronto since May 2006 with classes being taught in Toronto and surrounding cities since 2000.
The Toronto school, led by Instrutor "Paraiba", is one of the many branches of Axé Capoeira, one of the world's largest and leading Capoeira schools. Under the guidance of Mestre Barrão, the founder and president of Grupo Axé Capoeira organization, our group has grown to over 9,000 members worldwide in 20+ countries.
The objective of this site is not only to promote the Grupo Axé Capoeira (pronounced AH-shay cap-oh-AIR-ah) organization in Toronto and worldwide but to also promote the Brazilian Culture, Dances, Capoeira and the people who teach and practice these wonderful arts.
Salve Axé Capoeira!
